Mandar Kulkarni founded SHYFT° following more than twenty-five years of leadership and advisory experience across India and Japan. He served as Managing Partner at Gartner Consulting and Accenture Japan, where he led engagements across the Insurance and Financial Services sectors while advising some of the region's leading enterprises.
Working closely with Japanese organizations shaped his belief in discipline, trust and long-term value creation. His experience across India's technology and innovation ecosystem reinforced the power of speed, adaptability and execution. SHYFT° was built on the conviction that the future belongs to organizations that can combine both.
Today, he advises enterprises, investors and institutions on AI transformation, AI-native GCCs, digital infrastructure and strategic opportunities across the India–Japan corridor.

Over more than twenty-five years, Akshay has worked across investment, advisory, BFSI, real estate, sports, energy and startup ecosystems in India. His journey has placed him at the intersection of business institutions, policymakers and investors, giving him a deep understanding of how ideas move from intent to action.
Through his work with Fit India and across corporate and public initiatives, Akshay has built a distinctive ability to connect people from different backgrounds, sectors and areas of influence, making extraordinary outcomes possible. At SHYFT°, this experience shapes his role as a relationship builder and ecosystem connector, bringing the right stakeholders together, creating common ground while opening pathways for long-term collaboration.
